  • Spotted Eagle Ray – Amazing encounter at MUSA

During a guiding last summer at the MUSA, the underwater museum at Isla Mujeres, Mexico, I had an amazing encounter with a huge spotted eagle ray.

Close to the scuplture group “Great Evolution” I found him digging in the sand for food. The other guides around were very professional and nobody went too close so that he didn´t felt disturbed.

After he found what he was out for, he disappeared relaxed, swimming right above my head.

Luckily I had my gopro camera with me and captured this awesome experience.

Watch it!
